Previous to forming Inter Arc Design, Susan worked for Conran Design Group and Powell Moya Architects. For two years she was responsible for the concept, design and implementation of the interiors for the new 'Hospital for Sick Children' at Great Ormond Street, London. This project was well received and published in the 'Architect's Journal' and 'Hospital Development' in 1994.

Susan's current design consultancy role involves working with a diverse spectrum of clients ranging from specialist corporate clients in the City of London, hospitality enterpretuerers, healthcare specialists, creative companies to charitable organisations. She has published articles on the importance of design in business and in improving general well being, taking an active role in research and innovation. Outside of running a business her interests include travel, personal development, mediation, yoga, transpersonal psychology, contemporary dance, film and music.

For 5 years, since 2006 Susan has been a Consultant Professor, responsible for setting up and teaching commercial interiors to BA design students, as part of the Syracuse University London Program.
